As we work towards a specific posture, we do so in stages over a number of classes, using warmups and asanas targeting the specific muscle groups required.
In this way students can fully experience the process it takes to approach that posture with a good understanding of their body tendencies, limitations and potential, gradually developing
The teacher will provide individual assistance wherever possible.
This class is designed to build up strength, stamina and suppleness as we work through a variety of the Sun Salutations and towards more challenging postures in a flow, with emphasis on the synchronicity between breath and movement.
A Gentle practice, allowing time for the student to understand the importance of the breath in yoga, with particular focus on the foundations and alignment of the postures.
